Malaysia/Bruei/Singapore, 1999

I went to Malaysia for three weeks in February 1999, and also got to visit Brunei and Singapore. The highlight of my trip was climbing Mt. Kinabalu, which with its 4095 meters is pretty impressive.

Beijing-Paris by train, 1999

Since I had to go back to Europe the summer of 99', I decided to do so by train. Going with my friend Adam, we first flew from Tokyo to Beijing, then continued by train - all the way to Paris.

Grimstad/Madrid, Millennium

The Philippines, 2000

I went to the crazy country of the Philippines for 1,5 months during the spring of 2000, and got to visit the beautiful island of Palawan and the incredible mountain district in the north. I also had the pleasure of visiting Manila; one of the world's ugliest capitals.
