During my stay here in this poor version of a country, I will try to visit parts of the East that are deemed interesting by others. Still, during my first couple of months here, I have only been on two major trips.  My first one took me to Washington, where I got to visit my good friend Sara Kim, a former exchange student to Sophia Univ.  Later, when my dad came over on a visit, we rented a car and drove to the Appalanchian mountains, making brief stops in Amish country and Gettysburgh on the way.  Fellow Sophian exchange student Marie was nice enough to join us on this journey.
