November 9, 2000:

Who is going to win the election? Most UPenn students are extremely liberal, and most are therefore hoping for Al Gore to win.  Bush is considered a complete idiot, this as he only got Cs at university. Additionally, the argument goes, he only got into Yale because his father is a rather famous dude.  George W. has in other words not succeeded because he is gifted in any way.  It should, however, be mentioned that Bush draws some support here, and that mainly from male business students.  Personally, I also find Gore to be a bit too liberal.  He supposedly supports mandatory abortion, and actually commented that my idea of allowing abortion until the age of two sounds like a good idea.  I argued that mothers should be able to get rid of their kids until the brats are able to walk, this as the small bastards can't take care of themselves anyway.  Al said he would consider it.

Apart from that, I am in the middle of picking classes for next semester. Currently, I am taking a bunch of Wharton classes that have proved completely meaningless, so this is what I am planning to do next semester:

Ebonics 215

Shoplifting 301

White Trash and Social Deviance

American Sophistication (2-week course)

I think this should prove to be enough for next semester, but I am considering taking "Lesbians and Bananas - A Study of Fruit", this even though it is a seminar.  Oh, why not, Babe of the Week:

Horny, horny

Except from that, I am really worried about my friend Dan.   He studies way too much, and constantly talks about how he wants to give away vital bodyparts to beautiful women.  Yet, one thing calms me down, and that is his taste of women.  For the third consecutive week in a row, Dan has contributed the Babe of the Week.  This week's selection is a Caucasian beauty, stunningly beautiful and sensual.   Knowing that her breasts could give any teenage boy a heart attack, she gently covers them up with her sexy hands, and thus leaves just enough for one's imagination.

The most fascinating part about this week's beauty queen is evidently her hair, which actually has inspired me to start saving for something similar.  Doing so is likely to please my mom, not to mention my girlfriend.  One day, oh yes, one day, I will become as beautiful!

Okay, what else? I had my last midterm yesterday, this time in statistics.   Yet, since I stayed up until 5 in the morning the night before (watching the election), I am likely to receive the letter that usually precedes antastic.  I am a political animal, and feel extremely privileged to have experienced this election.   Every class I had both yesterday and today discussed the possible outcomes, and also the legal challenges that can be raised from both sides.  Hopefully though, the election will not have a negative impact on the American version of a democracy.  I must admit that I am a bit surprised; I came to what I expected to be a fairly modern country with, if not cultured, at least competent people.  Now it seems that even the Russians are better at holding elections.
