January 26, 2001:
Well, what is new? I just got back from "Crouching tiger, hidden dragon", perhaps better known as "Stupid tiger, where is my dragon?". It was a great movie, and is hereby highly recommended. I got back from Norway just over one week ago, and has since then been busy picking classes and handing in resumes. This is my current schedule:
| Criminology | Psychology | Executive Leadership |
| Consumer behaviour | Law and E-Commerce |
All my classes seem relatively interesting this semester, thereby constituting a big contrast to last semester, which turned out to be a big drag. I learned at least something noteworthy this week; The chance of being shot is 30 times greater between 9 PM and 3 AM than it otherwise is. Also, perhaps the most dangerous place to be in the States is somewhere close to an ATM!
I will try to put up some pictures from my trip to Thailand within a couple of weeks, so please stay tuned for that. While there, I managed to finish Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karerina, that without having seen any of the movie versions! While on the plane back to Norway, I wrote comments to some pictures from my college house. Check them out here if you want.
| This is another classical picture sent to me
by Alex, a buddy back at Sophia University in Japan. I found it to be very funny,
and I have to admit that George W. Bush does not seem to be the brightest individual
around. He might surprise us, though, just as Ronald Reagan did when getting elected 20
years ago. Finally, I do again want to encourage you to send me good pictures. Remember that I can count my friends on an amputated hand, and that emails cheer me up like nothing else. My discussion board is also available, though it seems to be even less popular than my guestbook. |
