December 6, 2000:
A good thing about writing this journal is that I am forced to remember what I have been up to since last Wednesday. Usually, it is not a lot, and this week is no exception. A Canadian friend of mine, Wade, summarizes his week in a chronological order, so this week, I will do the same. Please bear with me.
December 1 was a Friday, a day on which I have no classes. The result of this is that I usually end up going to bed around 4 AM the night before, seldom remembering what I was doing the day after. You might assume this is due to overconsumption of alcohol, but you could not be further from the truth. A usual Thursday Night at Stouffer College House is spent wandering up and down the hallways, generally speaking to students about the one crazy time we had too much coffee too drink. I spent most of Friday Night writing a marketing paper focusing a USA TODAY online venture from 1997. Tried one frat party late at night, which sucked, so I went on to buy pizza. Then, I went home and cried.
December 2 was another day spent studying, this as I had to finish my marketing paper. Because Andrea and Keke invited their favourite homie for lunch, I was not able to sleep in. I am usually fooled into doing this every Saturday, and thus end up being tired the rest of the day.
December 3 was the first Sunday of Advent, and therefore a brilliant day to go to church. Andrea and Tom agreed to come with me, the latter luckily less ignorant of Christianity than the first. As Andrea wanted to see some nice architecture, we ended up going to St. Mark's Church. It is Anglican, and a weird mix of Catholism and Protestantism. It was good fun, but I will try to find a more Protestant Church next time. After church, we went shopping, and I finally remembered to buy some tea mugs for the green tea Miho brought from Japan.

Now, let's stop for a second, and let me introduce the Babes of the Week! Yes, there are 2 this week, this as I did not have the heart to pick only one of them. Again, I received these in a mail from Dan, who just seems to possess a bottomless well of beautiful women. The Sex Symbol to the left was actually selected Miss Wharton 1984, and gave the concept of "Strong Women" a brand new meaning. Yet, she also gets much of the blame for the school's high rate of single women. I have no idea if the babe to the right has ever won anything, yet she certainly knows how to dress. In an aesthetic fashion, she shows off her sexy belly, and consequently makes any man want to jump into her to get a bite. Get in my belly! |

December 4-6: Why make it more painful than necessary? Monday I was up until 4 at night, wrapping up papers and a presentation that was due the next day. Then got up at 8 in the morning, and did my best to put on a happy face the entire day. As I mentioned last week, our presentation was on Australian Labour Relations. It seems like a joke, but unfortunately was not. Here it is, if you want proof!
Finally, I have to comment on last week's comments on female urinals; It was a Joke! This week, I had girls coming up to me, asking if the story was true. After telling them that it was not, I first saw disappointment in their eyes, but then it turned into rage - Directed against me! Yet, something interesting came out of the entire thing. A friend commented to me that there are devices available that make "standing up" a possibility, also for women. I am not certain about the sales opportunities, but there should be a big market at Wharton alone.
If you have any comments on this week's Babes of the Week, or anything else for that matter, please leave any messages here.
