December 2002, Tokyo
I visited Disney Sea during Christmas, and actually had to wait more than three hours in line to get into one attraction!  If that is your idea of fun, and do not mind being harassed by 200 million Japanese children, please go for yourself!

I got really excited when Deborah told me she would be having a party at her house, even more so when I discovered that it was her birthday party.  I bought some sexy underwear, and went to the party.

Sept-Oct, 2002, Tokyo
From May-September this year, I worked part-time for a trading company in Tokyo.  When leaving, some people took me out to celebrate my leaving.  Additional pictures from a party held for Sofia, a Swedish intern, are included.

September, 2002, Saitama
Although I have moved to Tokyo, I returned to Saitama in early September to visit the beautiful waterfalls of Ogose.  Unfortunately, it was too dark for an incompetent individual as myself to take any good pictures.  Do not tell me you were not warned.

August 17, 2002, Tokyo
Yotam, a friend from my days at UPenn, came to visit me in Tokyo with his friend Yukari.  He had been out in the countryside for quite some time, and I was happy to show him urban Tokyo.

July, 2002, Tokyo
Karrie, a friend I made while in a Japanese class at Sophia, returned home to the United States after having worked for a while in Tokyo.  While the pictures are not that interesting, at least they prove that I once in a while get invited to social events featuring actual people.

July, 2002, Tokyo
Due to the high turnover of foreigners in Tokyo, I find myself saying goodbye to quite a few every year.  Hopefully, our paths will cross again.  This is from a karaoke farewell party in Yotsuya, close to the prestigious academic institution Sophia University.

Bye Bye Party

July, 2002, Tokyo
On my birthday, July 6, I held small party for a few selected friends in my Tokyo apartment.  The highlight of the party was a bottle of North-Korean liquor that I acquired while in Seoul.  Seiji and Forrest appear equally excited.

 Various 2002, Japan
Here is a collection of some pictures I gathered throughout the year.  They are basically from a snowboarding trip and from my parents' trip to Japan in September.
