2004 Roundup
2004 was a year characterized by lots of hard work. During the first
6 months of the year, I spent an incredible amount of hours in the office.
When I reach my deathbed, I hope I will not have any regrets about that.
During the last part of 2004, I was able to do some traveling. You
can see a brief summary of 2004 in my Christmas letter.
Time passes by too quickly. What is the rush?
Various Japan Pictures, 2004 A collection of various pictures taken during the year.
Yuka and I often go on short trips on the weekends, and this is an attempt
to preserve some of the memories.
September 23-27,
2004, New York I left Tokyo for a long weekend to visit my friends in New
York. Although I was not able to see all of them, at least I made an
effort to catch up with people I had not seen in quite some time.
July 16-31,
2004, Norway I had a short summer vacation during which I visited Norway and
England. In addition to seeing the beautiful fjords of Norway, I got
to experience the famous Beatles spots in Liverpool.
January 10-11,
2004, Izu Peninsula Returning back to Japan after Christmas break, Yuka and I
decided to visit Dogashima on the Izu Peninsula. The nice resort
town is known for its impressive caves and ocean views.
