Jan Does Various Places, 2001

Sam, beloved Jan, Andrea, Cristina and Keke enjoying a meal at Johnny Rockets to celebrate the end of the semester. Well, before Johnny Rockets we had some Muslim food at a Moroccan restaurant (I was hungry). Actually, it is one of Brad Pitt's favourite hangouts. Back to Johnny Rocket's, Keke gets a hug for having invited the waitress to a free meal at her mom's food truck in New York.

Anthony and Charlene came to visit for Spring Fling, and Anthony and your beloved Jan are here gathered outside the Van Pelt building.  Penn has a lot of nerds, so I think both Anthony and Charlene enjoyed seeing them party.  We agreed, though, that we have aged, and that we are not the youngsters we were back in 1996 (as exchange students in Japan). Sam, my next-door compatriot, Anthony, Jan and Yotam.  The latter was a fellow exchange student living in Stouffer, and also an avid traveler. I hope I will be able to travel with him some day in the future, though we both equally unpopular with the chicks.

I was, as usual, all alone on July 4th, but I managed to have a picture taken with a group of people. A great view of Philly can be seen in the background. Anthony, my good buddy from Buffalo (NY), in front of some national state park in NY. In addition to bothering Anthony's entire family in July, I also managed to convince Anthony to take me to the Niagara Falls. It was an amazing view, particularly from the Canadian side of the border.

When Anthony kicked me out of his house, I took a Greyhound up to the beautiful city of Toronto. I had to transfer planes there in March this year, and then the city was extremely cold.  Now, though, the city was hot and filled to the brink with beautiful women.   While in Toronto, IOC decided to give the 2008 Olympics to the dictators in Beijing.  That really puzzled me.  While Beijing is a primitive, ugly and hostile city run by dictators, Toronto is a peaceful, multicultural city with a highly developed public transportation system.  Someone, please explain why Toronto did not get the Olympics, which the city applied for.

A picture of Anthony's dad, a police officer, and Jan. Ireen, my beautiful Indian (no, just kidding!) friend. She lived in Stouffer, and even though she is very bright, Ireen is also one of the slowest readers I know. Bindi was Stouffer's (my Penn dorm) sexual tease numero uno, and would often walk naked through the hallways to keep the male population from turning gay. Thank you.
