Not all countries have these interviews, but those who do.... They take the AFS-interview very seriously. Therefore you should never meet in a NAZI-uniform, naked or just in diapers. You should also watch your mouth. Don't say: "Ohh.. I'm so tired after all these church burnings" or stuff like that. Some AFS-volunteers might consider you an interesting character, but I wouldn't bet my money on it.

It's better if you dress like you normally
do and say stuff you normally wouldn't say. To sound intellectual and mature is very helpful. The basic traditional sentences is: "I am so interested in other countries... Learning to know other cultures... I always help elderly to cross the street.... and so on".

Please be careful with what your parents say as well. You don't want your mother sitting there saying: "Ohh. My boy hasn't been in trouble with the police for many days now!!".

If you manage to do these things (sounding convincing doing it) you increase your chances dramatically for becoming accepted. You'll probably be sent home from your host country after a few days (or hours), but I only give you tips on how to become accepted.

If you were a normal person I guess you wouldn't need my tips to become accepted anyhow...
