Various pictures taken during the first half of the year, just to show that I was actually doing something then as well.

Hakuba, October, 2007
I went to Japan's Northern Alps in October, and was able to take some rather nice pictures.  It is easy to see that Japan has much more to offer than just Kyoto, Tokyo, friendly people, and food!

New York, September, 2007
I went on a short trip to New York and stayed next to the World Trade Center site.  It was good seeing my NY friends again, just wish I could visit the Big Apple more often.

The Pulpit Rock, July, 2007
Luckily for the Pulpit Rock as a tourist attraction, it has seen better days.  Jan visits Norway for the first summer in two years, and Norway has the worst summer in 100 years.  Most people are hoping I will not be back next year.

Barcelona, January, 2007
With less graffiti and fewer people smoking, Barcelona would be a much nicer city. Perhaps I should try visiting again in summer, as Barcelona failed to blow me away. And no fireworks on New Year's Eve, what is up with that?

London, January, 2007
Once the capital of the world, London is an amazingly interesting city to visit. The food sucks, however, and the prices are ridiculous. While I had been on Heathrow a couple of times before, I had never before visited the capital. Finally the time had come.
