Part 1 Part 2
I had never been to London before, so I decided to make a visit.  While I did not expect much, I ended up having a fairly pleasant visit. Most of my visit is described in my blog, so I will not bore you with too many details.  The above is a picture of the Monument, which I also covered in my blog.
A view from the top of the Monument.  I booked my hotel through Priceline, and as normal it was not possible to beat their prices.  However, while the hotel that ended up accepted my bid was Hilton London Olympia hotel.  After staying at Ghetto Hilton Guam in 2005, I was not looking forward to staying at another Hilton.   As many people commented on Tripadvisor.com, Hilton London Olympia is a dump that does not deserve four stars.  My hotel was very small, and I have scene dormitories looking more modern than this disaster place.  Pictured above is London Bridge.

One highlight of my trip to London was meeting Gekidan Hitori when visiting London Dungeon, but that is covered thoroughly in my blog (with pictures).  From a historical perspective, however, the tower of London was much more interesting. St Paul's Cathedral, which I decided not to enter on this visit.  It was late in the day, and I was already tired of seeing historical monuments.  I will save this one for my next visit.
