| While we visited the Hakuba ski jump
stadium, all the top Japanese ski jumpers were practicing for a competition
they were to have the following day. |

| I was mildly shocked to see several
female athletes, some of them even a little bit attractive, jumping like
there was no tomorrow. As a man scared to death just by the thought of
jumping, I have seen better days. |
Kazuyoshi Funaki, Takanobu Okabe, and
all the other famous Japanese ski jumpers were participating while we
visited the Hakuba ski jump stadium. |

| Formerly called Norway Village as the
Norwegians used it as their headquarter during the Olympics, the Hakuba
Olympic Village Memorial Hall is located just by the ski jump stadium. |
