Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Another picture of modern Shanghai, this time at night. Here I am eating even more Chinese food.  Hopefully, I was not served too much dog meat.

The view from the Jin Mao Tower is magnificent.  The picture is somewhat unclear, however, as it was taken through a window. The Jin Mao Tower houses the world's highest hotel, namely the Grand Hyatt (where I evidently can not afford to stay).  The reception can be seen at the bottom of this picture, which was taken from the top of the Jin Mao Tower.

Finally, Shanghai at night can be a lot of fun.  We enjoyed several nice foot massages, and the acrobats at the Shanghai Centre Theatre are incredible. Close to this Yoshinoya restaurant (Japanese food chain), we visited the Xiangyang Clothing Market.  This is highly recommended, as you can find fake brand-name goods at really cheap prices.

Finally, say whatever you want about the Chinese, but their table manners are "different" than what I am used to.  This is a Chinese dinner table after a random Chinese family has massacred their meal.  It seems to be customary to simply spit out any food one does not like, and the result can be seen above.
